RCA Series 1 Tivo.  I am running this without the service (so its like a digital vcr).
I have had a few problems getting it setup and running (TIVO does not make setup 
easy if you do not have a "traditional" phone line (we use cell's so I had to take this to
work to let it "call in".

 

This is my latest addition.  I am using a RCA DTV 100 HDTV Receiver now to pull
in digital feeds from my over the air antenna.  It works great and you do not have to have
DirecTV Service working to do what I am doing with it (I do not have DirecTV).

After going through 3 DVD Recorders (all failed within a few months with minimal usage) I have decided to forgo traditional dvd recorders.  I have since gone back to using a computer dvd recorder to backup my video files and I couldn't be happier (this particular one has been going for 3+ years without a problem).
